Chairman’s Message (posted Tue 8th Jun 2021)
Hope everyone is well and enjoying some new-found freedoms and sunshine. There has been loads going on and I thought it would be good to give everyone a bit of an update.

I must start by saying how sad I was to hear about the passing of Brian Rutherford, he was a gentleman with a great sense of humour. Well miss him, but our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time. Events like this go to reinforce that we must treasure our time and all those around us whilst we can.

100 Club Draw - May 2022 (posted Mon 31st May 2021)
The monthly draw was conducted today with the lucky numbers drawn by Tony Stedman and the winners were: 1st May: Barry Simmons £20; 8th May: Lorraine Humphreys £20; 15th May: Bob Winter £20; 22nd May: Chris Langford £20 and 29th May: Alan Dumpleton £100 and Dan Smethers £50.

New members welcomed at just £1 per week payable by bankers order ideally on a quarterly basis. Contact the Club for further information.

Restructure at Step 5 (posted Mon 17th May 2021)
The Football Association has published the 2021/22 Step 3 to 6 allocations which means that we will be welcoming 7 new teams to Tring but losing 7 friends to other leagues. Some of the "new" teams have been in the SSMFL previously so will be well known to you but are as follows:- Cockfosters and Hadley from the Essex Senior League and Flackwell Heath and Holmer Green from The Hellenic Premier League in addition Milton Keynes Irish and New Salamis are promoted from Division 1 of the Spartan South Midlands and Risborough Rangers from the Hellenic League.

We expect our players who represent our club to behave in a respectful way throughout the season. There are also responsibilities attaching to our supporters who come and watch our teams. in fact, we should set an example of good behaviour so that our players can take a lead from us. The club has produced a Code of Conduct which it attached. it is set out to help increase awareness of the standards of behaviour that are expected within the modern game.
