Playing on Edgwares artificial pitch, Tring won this by a convincing scoreline but it could have been far different if the home side had been as clinical in front of goal as Athletic were.

Charlie Mann pulled off a good save after nine minutes and the home side had more of the ball through out the half.

However It's goals that count and from the 3 shots Tring had, they scored two goals. These coming from Charncey Dash and Tommy Fletcher. This gave Tring a 2-0 half time lead.

A harsh half time team talk livened up Tring and they dominated the second period.

Dan Ferrigno scored the third goal after the hour mark.This then opened the flood gates.

66 Minutes - A corner to the far post was tucked away by Frazer John for his second goal in two games since signing from Ware.

73 Minutes - A good pass from Chris Vardy was clinically finished by Charncey Dash-5-0

On 90 Minutes, Oran Swales finished off the scoring to finish the game 6-0 winners.

Manager, Kevin Christou, although pleased with the 6 goals and a clean sheet. Still thinks there is more to come from this side who have only been playing together for a few games.
