Both sides were grateful for use of the main pitch which is in absolutely pristine condition.

The Ressies started well playing down the slope but in all honesty could well have been behind at half time despite themselves missing a couple of gold edged chances.

If anything the U 18s looked more comfortable on the ball but as ever the Ressies kept plugging away to eventually win 3-2 in a decent standard game which served a purpose of being a competitive work out.
