Our afternoon started with paying tribute to Mr.Levy Green ,Graham Smart ,who recently passed away ,with an immaculate minutes applause and in the difficult circumstances we'd like to thank our opponents for their usual welcome and hospitality.

The game itself was hampered by a rock -hard bumpy pitch which certainly for the first 20 mins stopped us maintaining our standards of play and ,although playing up the slope we created a number of half chances but too many passes were failing to find their target and the occasional accurate long ball from their custodian caused us more problems than it should have done.

On 20 minutes we played a bit of decent possession football which resulted in a tidy finish from Frankie Hercules .

Levy had a half chance when the bounce deceived keeper Dave Saunders but Les Barkers -Obua was alive to the situation and the danger was averted.

We could arguably have extended our lead through a couple of Joe Naylor strikes and their keeper made an excellent save from Clem Asante who latched onto a Will Salmon pass to smash a shot towards the top left hand corner.

Playing down the slope we slowly but surely began to turn the screw and after 15 minutes a well struck cross shot from Prince Nimoh across the target found its target.

With due respect to the opposition we were now dealing well with their attacks and began to dominate in midfield and swamp forward. Subs were introduced relatively early and one of those Ross Hazel unfortunately had to come off with a back injury. Loanee Tom Shaw scored 2 goals and Tom Ainsworth was unlucky when brought down when straight through.

Unfortunately ,Ascot Utd also won so we remain 3 points behind with 3 games each to play. Onto Harefield Utd on Tue night.
