Hopefully this doesn't come back to bite me but we finally look as if we've got our season on a roll.
On a carpet of a pitch we put our 3-5-2 formation to good use. With Connor Blake and Will Salmon defending the area in front of our back 3 of Will Mullarkey, Matt Stacey and Gareth Terblanche this allowed Teddie Paul to support the front 2 of Jack Read and Jack Sunderland and the two wide men Scott Henderson and Joe Naylor were able to either help in defence or supplement our attacks.

We started well and a melee in the 2nd minute could have seen us take the lead but after 8 mins Jack Read opened his account from a Connor Blake corner. Apart from one attack, which was ended by a tremendous tackle by Will Mullarkey, Dunstable Town didn't really threaten and on 27 mins we doubled our lead from another corner converted by Jack Sunderland, who was very effective.

We then dropped our standards and having seen their midfielder go close from distance, we allowed him a second chance and the deficit was cut.

The game could have gone either way allowing for all our superiority, but we reacted superbly when Teddie Paul receiving a throw in from Gareth Terblanche he did superbly to dig out a cross to the far post where Joe Naylor scored with a deft header.

Having been reminded that our opponents would have to come at us strongly, we responded in the best possible way by Jack Read scoring his 2nd and our 4th after 3 mins of the restart!!

Dunstable Town responded well and after having kept them at bay for 10 mins we conceded when their midfielder was allowed to run into the area and turn a defender to finish across Luke Priestley.

Once again when the game could have been in the balance an absolute pearler by sub Joe Smith following good work by Jack Sunderland and a personal 3rd from Jack Read tied up the points.

Our opponents worked a couple of good short corner routines and hit the bar but our unbeaten run since I moved into my narrowboat continued!!!
