| A good match with Hemel taking the lead in the opening minute when their centre forward, Shittu, made a strong run through the Athletic defence and gave Tom Vincent no chance with the shot. Athletic settled down and played some good football equalising through Vinnie Iannone who was put through and finished comfortably. Within 5 minutes Athletic took the lead when Mark Burfoot turned on the edge of the box and shot low into the corner. The scores stayed the same until midaway through the second period and after a number of substitutions had been made by both sides Hemel scored 2 goals in a 5 minute spell and won the match by 3 goals to 2. |
