Athletic progress in the Challenge Trophy via a penalty shoot out after clawing back a late equaliser.
Biggleswade United took the lead on 50 minutes before Chris Blunden's free kick out the scores level with 5 minutes left. The competition rules state no extra time so we went straight to penalties.
Jack Hopwood saved the first spot kick with Dan Steadman putting Athletic ahead. United then missed their next two attempts but Sam Jolliffe added to the lead before Max Hercules hit the winner.
Tring now face a trip to Baldock Town in the next round.
